I would like to leave a review for Janie & Mike at Lower Barns

We had the most beautiful elopement wedding at Lower Barns, all thanks to Janie & Mike! We had planned our elopement wedding all via email/phone and didn’t know what to expect but we were so so happy when we arrived the day before our wedding!

Lower Barns is a really lovely venue. We stayed in “Cranny” which was just beautiful with a four poster bed, spacious bathroom, kitchen and has its own hot tub in a private courtyard garden. We loved all the little touches (fresh loaf, cupcakes, log fire burning!). Breakfast was delicious and brought to us each morning by Janie or Mike.

On the day of our wedding Janie and Mike were our witnesses and surprised us with confetti as we walked out of “The Shack” as husband and wife! We had cream tea after the ceremony which was so good. Nothing was too much trouble and Janie and Mike were just amazing.

Oh and not forgetting “Fat Cat” the cheeky feral cat who lives there and loved all the attention – he’s even in our wedding photos!

We had so much fun and we highly recommend Janie & Mike at Lower Barns. We will certainly be back to stay every year to celebrate our anniversary!”
