Autumn Vibes at Lower Barns
Us Brits do love a bit of weather chat, and this recent wave of glorious sunshine has been the talk of our guests here at Lower Barns of late.
But the world of weddings doesn’t sit still, and neither do we! So while we’ve been enjoying this glorious wave of hazy summer days, we’ve also started to look forward to our gorgeous autumnal elopements and intimate weddings and making plans to make the most of this beautiful season.
A dreamy time of year for a runaway wedding it’s all blue sky days and cosy evenings, the crunch of crisp leaves beneath your feet and glowing sunsets.
If you’re in the throes of planning your autumn wedding, embrace this year’s trends. Incorporate copper features and accents of black alongside those classic autumnal burnt oranges and ochres for a funky and fiery autumn vibe set off against our awesome backdrop.

Our friendly welcome and thoughtful little touches to make your wedding extra special, a beautifully colourful and bold backdrop to your day, topped off with delicious food and luxurious boutique accommodation. What more could you need?
Well, you know us… we never rest on our laurels!
Janie is always on the lookout for the next big project, forever adding to the wonder that is Lower Barns, and her most recent job for Mike has been our stunning new wood arbour, also fondly known as The Tunnel of Love!
Featuring 2 ornate twinkly chandeliers lit by the light of the evening sun, decorated with brightly coloured pompoms or wrapped in fairy lights, the arbour is definitely a new favorite feature for our gorgeous couples.
Whether you get hitched in The Wed Shed under the gaze of our resident owl Woody, tie the knot in front of the fire in The Love Shack or declare your love in The Lounge, we’ve got the perfect place for you to say I Do and lock Lower Barns firmly into a special place in your heart.
